Adj： い form <―い・―くない> な form <―な・―でない> ＋ うちに
「～と反対の状態になったら、できなくなるので、その前に｣と言う時に使う。
Used to indicate when something is/should be done before ~ occurs, as it will no longer be possible after that.

Since I will be getting married soon, I had better have fun while I'm still single.
2. 帰国するんですか？じゃあ、日本にいるうちに食事でもしましょうよ。
You're returning to your home country? Let's have a meal together while you're still in Japan.
